Szechuan Salt

Szechuan Salt is made of the leftover solids from the fermented  “Szechuan Hot Sauce”

The fermented pepper mash solids are strained out of the hot sauce before bottling and then they are dried. What makes this salt unique is the fact that the vinegar solids that are used for the “Szechuan Hot Sauce” are also added to this seasoning. Those solids include ginger, Szechuan pepper corn, Thai hot chilis, garlic, and Thai basil flower. The fermented aroma from the habanero and habanada peppers shine in this blend with a strong accent to the ginger, garlic, Szechuan pepper corn, and other inputs that will remind you of a funky Hot Pot flavor and aroma.
